BRUSSELS, November 5 /PRNewswire/ — A group of Members of the European Parliament, including Jurgen Creutzmann, have decided to form a group called “Friends of Gilgit-Baltistan.”
There is great concern from these members that the future of Gilgit-Baltistan is being determined not by the people of Gilgit-Baltistan but by the Government of Pakistan under the Constitution of Pakistan, even though Gilgit-Baltistan is not mentioned in Pakistan’s Constitution as part of its territory.
It is believed that the future of Gilgit-Baltistan should be determined by their people. It is this group’s belief that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan should be allowed to fashion their future in a manner that their region does not become a territory for the spread of fundamentalist andextremist tendencies.
It is with a view to help the people of Gilgit-Baltistan fashion a bright future for themselves that this group formed by Members of the European Parliament, shall monitor very carefully all developments that take place in Gilgit-Baltistan. It is believed that the ethos of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan has far more in common with the ethos of Jammu & Kashmir than Pakistan.

It is so ugly the face of these interanational powers, are they really friends of Gilgit-Baltistan or enemies of it. How burtally they link Gilgit-Baltistan link with Kashmir. Poor guys of European Paliament they are so naive of the extend of two complete worlds of Kashmir and Giglit-Baltistan, ans so it is with the rest of Pakistan.
This is nothing more than some Kashmiri lobiest
pushing through the European Parliament to push their agenda of swallowing Gilgit-Baltistan, which they can never be successful in doing so.

Being a Muslim and Kashmiri, I am I am irritated how some people belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan disaffiliate themselves from their identity as Kashmiri. We are either people in valley, or Jammu, or Gilgit-Baltistan are Kashmiri; either on the Pakistan’s occupied Kashimr or Indian occupied Kashmir, this is a historical fact and you have to accept it.
The future of Gilgit-Baltistan is much more protected in a future’s independent Kashmir rather than going under the Pakistan’s (Punjab’s) slavery and occupation. You could see under your nose what is happening with Baluch people in Baluchistan, and Pashtoons in Tribal areas, who safe you could be with such, are country. I hope you come and join hands with all Kashmiri those are struggling to come out of existing slavery and of either India of Pakistan who have divided us for their own self benefit and ruined our past and present, now it is time for an independent Kashmir my brothers and sisters of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Mr. Gillani would you please teach these tutoring lessons to your own folks of Kashmiries. Please make your own freedom possible first than look around for others. People of Gilgit-Baltistan have already achieved their freedom and tried to free you as well but you have gone to slavery by choice, so how can those who have sacrificed their precious lives for the cause of freedom could part with those who have are living under self-called occupation either that of India or Pakistan. People of Gilgit-Baltistan have attain their freedom in history and would crash now those who are trying to undermine their freedom!
At the same time these lunatics of European Parliament should think of their perspective of lingking Gilgit-Baltistan with any other side, particulary with Kashmiries. If the want to know the opinions of people of Gilgit-Baltistan should come on the ground and look for realties of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and their hater for Kashmiries.

We’re really thankful to the members of Europeon Parliment that they have dared to talk about the oppressed and the deprived nation like us. I do agree gillani kahmiri nd i would suggest my other bros not to use harsh words against our kashmiri bros rather try to know sum historical facts. In UNO’s official record there’s no existance of Gilgit-Baltistan instead the word State of jamu n Kashmir is being used. So, i dnt think there’s smthng wrong in running our moment with the kashmiris, coz it doesn’t make us kashmiri we’ll retain our unique identity as Gilgit-Baltistan.

Hyder Abbas or the other so called Nationalist are not infact Nationalists of Gilgit-Baltistan they are Kashmiri Nationalists. Any one who wants to go with Kashmiries are Black Sheep among the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Azad Khan is right Kashmiries who are themselves slaves of two countries and the little bit freedom that they have is given to them by Phathans of Triabal Areas and People of Gilgit-Baltistan how can they claim Giglit-Baltistan to be their part.

You dogs of European Parliament shutup and look into the reports of International organizations for the views of Gilgit-Baltistan about Kashmir. In your own contries you talk about peoples will and choice and for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan you want them to join Kashmiris whom they hate most.
