People of Gilgit-Baltistan and its political leadership without any difference of their political affiliation have always condemned the malicious claim of Kashmiries that Gilgt-Baltistan has never been part of Kashmir and will never be so.

The recent assertion in the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly (GBLA) does clearly shows the views and stance of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, where not only nationalist but also the ministers belonging to the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the Chief Minister Mehdi Shah and Wazir Baig, Speaker of the assembly categorically lamented their counterparts and political agitators of Kashmir on their frivolous statement about Gilgit-Baltistan.

All political parties and civil society of Gilgit-Baltistan are demanding to the both Government of Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan to take stern action against those elements that have publically incited violence in the Kashmir Assemble against the people and property of Gilgit-Baltistan. The member of Kashmir Assembly who have threatened to set in fire the buses and drivers of NATCO as a first step must be banned from entering to Gilgit-Baltistan permanently and cases must be registered against them in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and Supreme Court of Pakistan.
