Ambassador of Czech Republic Visited Gilgit-Baltistan Extended Friendly Relationships

Skardu (Mehdi Hussain): Ambassador of Czech republic visited Gilgit-Baltistan where he met with Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah at Skardu where he announced 200,000 US$ and handed over keys of ambulances during his visit to the affactees of floods. The Ambassador stated that in Gilgit-Baltistan there are tremendous resources of water which could produce huge amounts of electricity crucial for development. Czech has expertise in energy turbine which could be utilized to generate power in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Further the Ambassador stated that we would invest in GB in the areas of energy and education. We would like to strengthen our relationship based on mutual friendship and trust. We would do this with the cooperation of the government of Gilgit-Baltistan; I have extended my hand of friendship to the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan. He expressed his views during the visit to the camp office of Chief Minister in Skardu, Baltistan.
