Naheed Khan the very closest companion of Benzari Bhutthu who has parted her way after the death of Benazir with Asif Ali Zardari who took the leadership of PPP has given another blow to the weaken position of Zardari when she rejected flatly the offer of Governorship of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Many political analysist considered the offer of Governorship of Gilgit-Baltistan to Naheed Khan as an attempt to convince the one of my loyal companion of Benazir Bhutthu to bring her in the Zardari’s fold, however Zaradari failed in it.
At the same time it is annoying the people of Gilgit-Baltistan because the newly elected speaker is giving an impression that women governor would be from the Gilgit-Baltistan, while in contrary to his statements his party chief Mr. Zaradari is offering the post to non-local women. In this regard name of two women come into media first Sanam Bhutthu and than Naheed Khan, one is from Sindh and the other from Punjab. It is a strong demand of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan that governor should be a citizen of Gilgit-Baltistan not a viceroy-governor from any other province.
