[News] Kaira in Gilgit-Baltistan with Incentives for Voters

Ulfat Ara (Giligt): Qamar Zaman Kaira the acting governor of Gilgit-Baltistan and information minister in the PPP govt. at Islamabad on his tour to give which is focused on a final push to the elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. In an effort to give a final push to the election campaigned he announced a handful of incentives for the people. First he announced regularization of all contractual employees in the government sector. Second he particularly mentioned the regularization of all doctors currently serving in the govt. Hospitals as well as opening the doors for walk in interviews for the appointment of more doctors. Third he opened an orphanage named ‘Sweet Homes’ sponsored by the government controlled Bait-u-Mall. Forth he announced extending medical help facility for the poor people with an amount of 0.6 million. Beside these all, the Benazir Income Support Scheme (BISS) is on its way for long to attract many voters. Various political parties have accused PPP to use government machinery and resources for rigging the elections.
Qamar Zaman Kair, however assured the political parties and people of free, fair and transparent elections and he also thanked all political parties to participate in the elections and taking interest in the development of Gilgit-Baltistan.
